Changing the time mechanic completely

it's been a while since the last update. I have a lot going on irl and I had to change a lot of code for the next update.

First of all:

Thank you for playing the game and for the feedback I got, it helps me a lot in making desissions for the future.

The biggest feedback I got was that there is not much to do, resulting in a very low average playtime.

I decided to change the time mechanic in a way that fixes a lot of problems and makes it more acceessable for streamers and YouTubers too.

In the next update the game is not longer bound to your real date and time. Instead there is an ingame time and you can skip as many hours as you wish. The time will only update when skipping, it won't longer tick every second.

As a bonus this results in removing the waiting time at the beginning at the game and better perfomance.

This means for example:

You place all the buildings that you have the resources for and then skip for example 2 hours.

Now the buildings that took less than 2 hours are done and you got the resources they produced since the finished.

Same for all other aspects of the game.

I also got the feedback that the UI is not very easy to understand, I will work on that after releasing the next update.

The update will be released in the next two weeks.

On itch.io there is already a test version for download.
